GroovEmotions is a music project founded in Göttingen, Germany, in 2002 by the musicians YOUMAN and ANDY B.. From the very beginning, the project pursued the goal of developing audiovisual and atmospheric productions, initially with a strong focus on immersive soundscapes in stereo and 5.1 formats, as well as their realization in live performances. Over the years, the focus gradually shifted toward the acoustic listening experience. Today, GroovEmotions is stylistically rooted primarily in Electronic and Downtempo, complemented by Singer-Songwriter and Pop elements. A defining characteristic is the combination of electronic textures with organic instruments and clear song structures. Production is led by YOUMAN MEDIA, the company owned by YOUMAN. Artistically, YOUMAN performs keyboards and piano, shaping the harmonic and atmospheric foundation of the productions. ANDY B., an experienced rock guitarist, contributes distinctive guitar riffs that blend seamlessly into the electronic arrangements and add characteristic depth to the sound of GroovEmotions. After a longer creative hiatus since the late 2000s, the project was revived in 2023 with the release of the track „Lift Off“, featured by YOUMAN. From January 2026 onward, further new releases under the name GroovEmotions are planned.
